New oil paintings

MY LIFE is a movie. The plot is terrible, character development is erratic, and there are long tedious periods I want to fast forward through. But I love the visuals. I watch my movie from the car, random landscapes speeding past, with soundtrack. I notice the extras, characters with no speaking parts, recognized only as archetypes: people on phones, people with burdens, runners, walkers, bikers, dogs, children, and more cars.
MY PAINTINGS are stills taken from the movie and reinterpreted with paint en plein atelier.
On Saturday mornings and Monday evenings I attend congregational art services at Panza Gallery in Millvale, Pa. These are like religious services for me. There is an altar with a naked person and a congregation of adherents quietly facing the altar, quietly engaged in spiritual elevation of the human form. This is a gallery of my better efforts from this worship.
